As a certified specialist in this area, I can help you reach your performance goals faster than you’d previously imagined possible.”

Coach Rikk started as a recreational triathlete training under Coach Mike’s wing. With his keen interest in the sport and how nutrition plays a significant role in the performance, recovery, and over-all-general well-being of an athlete, Coach Mike encouraged and supported Rikk to obtain his certification from ISSA as Fitness and Sports Nutritionist. To ensure he is on top of the latest best practices, Rikk enrolled and completed the Mastermind in Sports Nutrition and other certifications from mysportscience academy, headed personally by one of the biggest names in sports nutrition, Asker Jeukendrup. Rikk is now working with TeamOnTri and is now the official team’s sports nutritionist, and is also partnered with BADASS fuels, an emerging dual source fuel based in the Philippines; providing scientifically proven fuel that is proudly locally made and affordable.

Rikk’s nutrition proficiency has helped athletes and individuals around the world achieve and surpass their goals. Whether it is competing in their first full Ironman distance race, qualifying for Kona, losing weight at a healthy level while minimizing loss of performance, or recreational athletes competing against elite athletes and achieving 3rd place overall in a Duathlon race series.

By utilizing evidence-based research in his programs, guess work is taken out and a bespoke plan is designed based on what is sustainable to the athlete. Rikk also firmly believes that “happy eaters make happy athletes” so he finds ways to ensure that the athletes maintain a sound relationship with food and eliminate misconceptions that are prevalent in today’s social media.
